National Qualification The top two entries per contest category will advance to the national competition at the University of Maryland in June. The third place finisher serves as a runner-up in case either of the top two can not attend the national competition. There could be a total of 55 representatives from Delaware.   Winner's Reception Congratulations all National History Day in Delaware winners! First, second, and third place winner's at the National History Day in Delaware competition along with parents, and teachers should attend the winner's reception as this meeting will provide vital information to students who will be going on to the state competition in June.
