National Qualification

The top two entries per contest category will advance to the national competition at the University of Maryland in June. The third place finisher serves as a runner-up in case either of the top two can not attend the national competition. There could be a total of 55 representatives from Delaware.
 
Winner's Reception

Congratulations all National History Day in Delaware winners!

First, second, and third place winner's at the National History Day in Delaware competition along with parents, and teachers should attend the winner's reception as this meeting will provide vital information to students who will be going on to the state competition in June. Please come prepared with any questions about the national contest.

  • When? Saturday, April 26, 2008 1:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Where? Copeland Room, Delaware History Museum 505 N. Market St., Wilmington

Winning Project Preview!

This year, the Delaware Historical Society is excited to offer the chance for NHD winner's to display their projects (exhibits, websites, documentaries, papers) at the Delaware History Museum from April 22-26 (505 N. Market St., Wilmington, DE)

Preview Drop-Off

  • Winner's can drop of their projects at the Delaware History Museum on Monday April 21st between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • If you come before 4:00 please call 302-655-7161.
  • If you are a downstate student, please see Ellen or Andrea after the awards ceremony so we can make special arrangements for your project.
